Is it safe to play episode one if you haven't watched season 4?

I'm considering purchasing the first episode of Game of Thrones because I heard that the game plays out from the end of season 3 to the end of
season 4, I'm wondering if the first episode spoils anything that happens in season 4?

    Yes, it's safe! The first episode is based on the Red Wedding, which is one of the last episodes of the third season. It does not contain any spoiler which is connected to the fourth season (yet!).
