The blood in room 207?

When you go to investigate room 207, where Lily was supposedly killed, you find the bed covered in blood. There's no way someone lost that much blood without dying, and Lily died from the ribbon being taken off. However, when Vivian takes off her ribbon, killing herself, there's no where near that much blood, or none at all (I don't remember). How does that work?

  • Maybe it was actually FAKE blood.

    Crane was a sicko.

  • Bigby should be able to tell if it was fake blood.

His nose is super sensitive. That's why he's always smoking those terrible cigs.

It could have been someone else's blood though. Maybe Georgie killed someone else in that room too?

  • Might be just an overlook, but maybe it's animal blood (actual animals), maybe part of Crane's fanatsy or was put there to mislead the investigation

  • Eh, I actually was just joking, it could have easily been an oversight by the developers.

I would argue that we don't see much of Vivian's body after she dies; I'd assume the neck would spill a large amount of blood but at a moderate speed over time...

Maybe Lily's corpse was left there for a while?

  • Body was dragged off the bed, causing blood marks, Bigby says it himself
