Lost save

I recently (this morning) finished the walking dead season 1 (from episode 1 to 5). I then installed 400 days and decided to try it out straight away. I entered the game and found it saying that my save file was corrupted, and that the game will recreate another. I accepted the message and waited. After a while, the black screen still hasn't changed, which led me to quitting the game and re-enter. Still the black screen, only without the message. I then reinstalled the game, with all of its episodes, including 400 days. The game worked again, only this time without my saves. I plan on buying season 2 in the near future, and having heard that my decisions in the first game will carry over, I want my progress back. What can I do?

Sorry in advance of I did something wrong here, this being the first time actually typing something on forums.

Can you please clarify if you are still able to see your save file in your Save Data Utility from your PS3's Save Data Utility Menu? If you are able to see your save's there, and you have the game updated to the latest version, your save files may have become corrupted. Unfortunately this means that you will no longer be able to use that save file, and it will need to be deleted. I sincerely apologize for any difficulties this may cause you.
