Question about downloading Monkey Island episodes

Hello, I am a college student. I am interested in preordering the Monkey Island season, but I have one concern. During the summer (a.k.a. right now) I only have access to my laptop (which I am posting from right now). My main computer is a desktop, which is in storage right now. I will not have access to it until August 19th when I go back to Berkeley.

If I download the first one or two episodes of the series on to my laptop, will I be able to transfer them on to my desktop during the school year?
