Clothes

Why do people in the game never change their clothes? They didn't do that either in the walking dead, but it made sense because they only had a limited supply of clothes. What's going on here?

  • Because it was the first episode and not much time had passed?

  • In Episode 2 of the first season every changed their outfit. Lee, Kenny, Clem, Lilly, Larry, they all changed outfits. Then when Episode 3 came out, Lee went back to his original outfit but everyone else stayed in the clothes they were wearing in the previous episodes.

But to answer your question, it's most likely because it's easier on the designers and artists so that they don't have to make new outfits for the characters to wear every episode.

  • As mentioned above in TWD they changed clothes when they had them (both seasons).
In The Wolf among us they have clothes but change them only a few times because the 5 episodes only take about 5 days.
We know that in Tales they change at least once because they have different clothes when they´re telling the story.
It´s true that in GoT they haven´t changed so far. Gared will probably be wearing the same stuff as everyone else on the Wall but I hope they will do something with the other characters. Especially in King´s Landing.

  • No but it has. Within episode 1, at least a week passed.

  • Well yeah but at least they could have changed the colors of the outfits like they did for Snow at Lily's funeral.

Well it's not real life and changing character models costs money. Although, I have no doubt that the recent Telltale characters will be plenty stinky if they were real. Everyone's rolling around in dirt and Bigby probably smells like wet dog.

  • You realise in the show Arya hasn't changed her clothes since season 1.
Now, of course, she hasn't really had the opportunity to, but in this period, unless you were quite rich, people didn't have that many clothes and changed a lot less often anyway.

  • The people in King's Landing are rich right? They never change either.
