How are we supposed to download and play episode 2?
this is a joke. i download the patch, started all again STARTED THE NOTEBOOK AGAIN
and there is NO episode 2 NOR a way to download it via the games (i tried it tro. the PATCH AND THE MAC STORE

If you're Xbox, PS4/3 and pc it should update automatically (through steam atleast).

If you're using IOS, as in a phone, episode 2 doesn't come out till Thursday for that platform, soooooo.

I read somewhere here in the community that the release date would be feb the 3rd, but only if updated very recently to Thursday

Well I'm pretty sure any platform that uses IOS has been set to release for Thursday. Not so sure about all the operating systems Apple uses but I think if you're using IOS then it's Thursday, maybe try making a thread in the support section :?

it is because i first saw it on the 3rd, and also on the support, a lot of people are having this problem (the telltale staff didnt said anything about the release date)
and i got this email from telltale, so i am guessing really is a problem with the patch or something

Different platforms and their storefronts have different release dates.
As a rule of thumb,
The email you got was referring to the PC/Mac release. Your first post gives off the impression that you were playing on a Mac, but you later make a post explaining you were playing on iOS. If you are playing on an iOS mobile device, you just have to wait until the iOS (iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch) version of Episode 2 to release on Thursday.
If you are having a problem on the Mac version, a Telltale Staff Member can assist you on that as I am only a Volunteer Moderator and that is outside of my reach.
Back in the main Game of Thrones forum, we have Release Date discussion threads for each episode where we Volunteer Moderators will update the main post with news about the upcoming episode release.
This thread linked below is where you can find the release date discussions for each episode of the Season. You can also double check to make sure you have the correct information by checking Telltale's blog, Facebook, or Twitter. As I said in my post above, not all storefronts release the episode on the same day. However, it generally tends to be the same week for the most part.

Hey there.
Thank you very much for everything. I misspelled iOS with OS X (mac), so what i meant was that, people were posting about mac, OS X on the support forum and the moderators were not saying anything about the release date, so, the game has already been released.
Thing is, i don't believe support can help solve anything. Because a lot of players with mac (notebook or imac) are having the same kind of problem.
I'm never buying anything at or from Telltale ever again... still waiting on Episode 2. Kinda want my money back now
My apologies for the delayed response. Please make sure you have downloaded the critical Mac patch necessary for playing Episode to. If you were not alerted to download the patch when starting the game, or if you are experiencing issues downloading the patch via in-game, please also try downloading it directly from a web browser, and follow the steps in the Game of Thrones PC/Mac Patch Thread to download the patch and place it in the right directory.
If you still experience any issues playing Episode 2, please note we are currently looking into an issue where some Mac players are unable to start Episode 2 after downloading and installing the patch, and we hope to have more information soon.
