Season Pass Not Showing In-Game
I recently purchased the Season Pass (last couple of weeks) for GoT on my Xbox One and have been eagerly awaiting the next episodes release. Heard that Ep. 2 was coming out today, so hopped in to go start up the download, but alas, my game does not appear to be recognizing my Season Pass. In-game it is giving the prompt like it did pre-purchase to Buy and get all future episodes instead of showing it as installed, and then if I click on it I get bounced to the Marketplace where it shows the Season Pass on sale currently for $19.99 instead of showing it as installed. When I go to the Games & Apps page and Manage my install of GoT, I can clearly see the Season Pass there next to Episode 1 base install.
I'm a bit leery of uninstalling the Season pass to try and reinstall since it is showing it as purchasable right now, so not sure what my best course of action is at this point. Help!

Tried checking back today to see if with the Marketplace updated it would self-resolve the issue, but it appears the problem is still there. Still showing the Buy option both in-game and on the Marketplace, even though I can clearly see it successfully (or is it...?) installed under the Manage install of GoT. I'm starting to wonder if there is some sort of Marketplace communication glitch between the game or something. I could've sworn it was about 2 weeks ago I bought the Season Pass, digging through my emails now looking for an email receipt to find the exact date to see if perhaps it coordinates with some known outage/glitch period or something, I'm drawing at straws at this point though.
im having same problem, says im installed but takes me to pay for the epidsode 2, microsoft are useless, and telltale wont respond
I apologize for the delayed response. Microsoft has updated the Marketplace Store page for the game, and you should now be able to start the game, and go to the episodes menu. Episode 2 should now say Purchased but not Downloaded. You can then select it, and it should take you to the proper page to download the episode. If you are still not able to, please try doing a search either on your console, or on a computer if possible, in the Marketplace for 'Game of Thrones - Episode 2: The Lost Lords', and it should show up in your search results, and allow you to download it remotely to your console.
Still no luck here. Even doing a remote search it shows as if up as if the Season Pass has not purchased, which is what I'm starting to wonder is what is actually the problem here. I was unable to find an actual email receipt like I normally receive from Microsoft after a Marketplace purchase, need to go dig through the old bank statements next.
Still doesn't explain how I have the Season Pass installed though. I clearly remember downloading it just after finishing my first playthrough of Ep. 1, the credits had finished rolling and it was showing me my Choices, then the list of Episodes and the Season Pass popped up and I bought it. I remember seeing it show up as installed for several days while I tinkered around playing out the last part of Ep.1 again and I kept checking back in hopes of an announcement of Ep. 2 dropping.
This was back around the 20th of Jan (based on my Achievements popping time table). Not sure if this helps at all.
I'm starting to think with the lack of an email receipt to be found on my part so far and a mysterious Season Pass install that there was a hiccup in the Marketplace and it downloaded the file, but didn't register as a purchase on the Marketplace, hence the reason when I go to redownload/reinstall it is showing the price and asking me to buy it again. I'm just trying to avoid being charged twice, so if this is just a silly transaction issue between me ans MS then I'll get it resolved and post back if that is the case. Or I could just be chasing my tail here, I dunno. I just know I would like to play the next episode.
I'm having the same problem. Season pass shows installed in the MS Store. Episode 2 shows Purchased, but not downloaded. If I click A to download it takes me to the store and my only option is to buy for 4.99. Funny thing, the description of the Episode 2 it takes me to even says do not buy if you have the season pass.
Can you please clarify if you see the Season Pass in your Purchase History in the Xbox Marketplace, or on the Marketplace Website? Also, when you look for Episode 2 in the Marketplace from on your console, can you please clarify if you go to the 'Telltale Collection' that is currently available, then go to the Add-Ons section, are you able to see Episode 2 available from that Store Page?

Episode 1 is clearly broken because even if you delete episode 2 and replay the final segment of episode 1 "my choices" will not show. And it doesn't matter if you buy it In-Game or from the marketplace on the Xbox One u will not be sent to the usual download page where u get like a confirmation as if you where buying a gift cards or gold membership on Xbox Live, the page you get sent to clearly says "do not download if you own a season pass". So it seems like if you want the savefile to work and crossover into episode 2 u either have to have gotten a reviewcode like some youtubers have, u can't have a season pass but instead download the episode individually, or buy it from the xboxlive webpage instead of the xbox one store itself.
Sorry for the delay in responding, have had major PC issues and just getting it back online. The Season Pass does not show up in my Purchase History in the Marketplace, in my email receipts, or on the Xbox Marketplace History when I view it for my full account history on Microsoft's website. When I go to the Telltale Collection and the Add-Ons section, I see Eps. 2 available to buy, not download. And to take it a step further, upon reviewing my bank statements I'm not seeing any transaction having gone through for Microsoft/Xbox close to the purchase price of the Season Pass during that rough time window I'm remembering (about 3-4 days around the 20th of Jan). So in my case it appears that, while it doesn't explain how I have a copy of the Season Pass on the system that I know I bought as I have a distinct memory of the purchase after the gut-wrenching ending to Eps. 1, which clearly doesn't function, it does explain why when I go to download it I was running into all the issues on the Marketplace, for all intents and purposes to Microsoft I never bought it. I'll just delete the phantom pass and cut my losses at this point, sadly not in the budget anymore for now to "re-purchase" it with a surprise $1k car repair landing in my lap today, ick. Maybe by the time I can afford it again the rest of the season will be out, sad times.
Thank you for providing the extra information, I sincerely apologize for any difficulties caused by this.
