starting Episode 2 not possible

Dear support team,

I really enjoyed the first episode of GoT, Despite minor issues with the activation key.
I cheered when I saw the 2nd episode:) so I downloaded it (us psn store).
Now I have the problem that in game it still says that the 2nd episode will "come soon". What have I done wrong? I reinstalled practically everything there is to reinstall but still no change.
And when I change to my European psn account, in game it says, that its available for purchase. But I don't want to buy it twice!?
Either way it seems, that my dlc file won't be registered.

Please help, or at least inform us about how much you know about that matter.

  • No answers I could easily get out of a FAQ today, Mike? Sorry, but I really angry with this and will claim my money back.
    And if I knew that telltale doesn't give a ..About their customers i wouldn't have bought so many of your titles! Just a shame how unprofessional, if I did my job that way, I wouldn't have one anymore

    I apologize for the delayed response, and any difficulties this has caused you. Can you please clarify if when you downloaded Episode 2, that you did it from the Playstation Store, or from the in-game Episodes menu? Also, did you originally purchase the Season Pass, or Episode 1 individually?

  • Like i said, I purchased the 2nd episode in the store as the game still States its "coming soon". Funny thing: with my other psn account it shows the 2nd episode as available, but not bought.
    And no. No season pass, just bought both episodes separately.

    My apologies, please also try deleting the Episode 2 download from your console, then logging into your Playstation account on the Playstation Store Website on a computer, and do a search for 'Game of Thrones'. You should see 'Game of Thrones - Episode 2: The Lost Lords' for PS3 in the search results. It should show up as 'Purchased' if you bought it. You can then select it, and choose to download it remotely to your PS3 from the website. You should then be able to turn on your PS3, and the download will begin. Then start the game, and see if you are then able to play Episode 2.

  • I bought it in North America and i bought episode 2 individually, then downloaded the demo but it still says coming soon for episode 2. And i tried redownloading it from my computer and it still hasn't changed.

    Did you also purchase Episode 1, or did you only download the Episode 1 Demo? If so, you will need to purchase the Full Episode 1, as that is the base game that Episode 2 will be available to play from. After you purchase Episode 1, you will need to download both the Demo, and the Game Unlock/Unlock Key, then your full game will unlock, and Episode 2 will become available from the Episodes Menu.

    In your original post, you mentioned issues with the activation key, can you please clarify if you have both the Episode 1 Demo, and the Game Unlock/Unlock Key downloaded and installed on both of your accounts that are from different regions?

    @Tharnuk In your original post you mentioned that you had changed to your European account, and Episode 2 shows as available to download there. Do you currently have both versions of the game downloaded and installed on the same system? If so, this has been known to cause issues between the two versions. Does deleting the European version of the game from your system possibly allow you to see Episode 2 as available to download in the North American version?

    My apologies, our Support Staff has received an overwhelming amount of Support emails, and are working hard to answer every one. If you have not heard back yet, you should be hearing back soon. Unfortunately for any inquiries regarding refunds, or refund requests for purchases made on the Playstation Store, you will need to contact Sony Support directly for further assistance with that particular request.
