After I pick up the sword using RT , it does not let me hit the x button and I keep getting stabbed and killed over and over again without being able to do anything.

This seems to be a problem across multiple platforms. I had this problem on PC which asked me to press A
@grossmandg144 I apologize for the incovnenience. When you see the X icon on-screen, there should also be two icons on either side of the screen merging on the center. The goal of this particular Quick-Time Event is to time the X Button press with when the two icons meet in the middle, and complete the circle. If you time it correctly, you should be able to complete the Quick-Time Event.
