Episode 2 purchased but won't install ps4

I purchased episode 2 and downloaded it as normal, it's says it's installed on my ps4 but when I go to play the episode it says purchased but not installed, I click the download button but nothing happens. Please help.

  • I'm also getting this. I have tweeted telltale games but I have had no response. If this don't get fixed soon. I will be contacting sony and requesting a refund as the game is completely unplayable.

  • What is the problem with this game? It's saying the episode is not installed. If this crap is not fixed soon, I won't buy any more of these episodes until they finish the series.

  • Same thing here. I probably deleted and downloaded everything like 15 times and this is getting really annoying. We pay money for these stuff and not a single constructive help is coming. I know It might be hard to make games and stuff but as a customer I expect a solution like you all do. Did anyone manage to solve this problem yet?

    I apologize for the inconvenience, and for the delayed response. Can you please clarify if you start the game and go to the Episodes Menu, that you see the same 'Purchased but not Downloaded' message next to Episode 2? If so, are you able to select Episode 2 to begin downloading the episode? Also, if you already purchased the episode, and started downloading it, can you please clarify if you started the game, and tried playing the Episode before the download of the episode was completed, or did you wait until it was fully downloaded?

  • I downloaded the episode 2, then opened the game and on the episodes menu for ep2 it was saying "purchased but not downloaded". I deleted everything, only downloaded the game itself then went to episodes menu selected the ep2, it directed me to psn store, I downloaded the ep2 like this. I waited until it was fully downloaded, restarted the game and it still says "purchased but not downloaded". But psn store says that I downloaded. I repeated this procedure like 10 time literally.

    My apologies. If you are still unable to access the episode after purchasing it individually, I recommend deleting the game from your console, along with the Episode 2 that you downloaded. (Please note this will not affect your save files) Then re-download the first episode, and open the game. Then in-game Episode 2 should say 'Purchased but not Downloaded' again. You should then be able to select it, and Episode 2 will download again, and should then be associated with the game.

  • I'm from Canada, I purchased episode 2 separately from psn store on ps4. I tried your suggestion but It doesn't work. Are planing to release a new patch? I don't know.

    Please also try logging into your Playstation Account on the Playstation Store Website, then do a search for 'Game of Thrones', and see if you are able to remotely download Episode 2 to your PS4 using the 'Download' button from the Episode 2 page on the website.

  • My girlfriend was having the same issue on PS4. It was very easy to resolve.

    DO THIS:
    Select Settings > [PSN] > [Restore Licenses].

    My apologies, if you are still experiencing the issue, I recommend try deleting the game, episode, and any game data associated with the game from your Storage Management on your PS4. (To get to your Game Data, and Save Data files for the game, please go to Settings, then open the Storage Management menu.) Inside there delete the data associated with the game, then reinstall the game fresh from the Playstation Store, and download the second episode from in-game, and you should then be able to play the episode successfully.
