Mira Can't Escape Problem

I've tried multiple times now to escape when Mira is in the garden. In the upper left hand corner it says press L to escape, which I do, however nothing happens. In fact I think I've pressed almost every button on my PS4 controller...
Is there anyway to fix this?

    I've now deleted the game and reinstalled it and it still happens. This is quite annoying..

    I apologize for the inconvenience. Can you please clarify if you have tried tilting the Left Analog Stick in the down direction, and holding it, to see if you are then able to complete the Quick-Time Event successfully?

    I deleted the game and waited a day then downloaded it again and it worked this time.
