Season 1, Episode 2 won't load - Retail disc

So this is the second time I play through Episode 1. I go through the entire thing, it shows my choices/stats, the credits roll and I'm back at the main menu. It's auto-prompted to start Episode 2, but when I hit the button to play the episode (2) it just starts me off right back at episode 1. I'm also not on Xbox live... Is there any fix at all for this, or did I just spend good money on a game I can't play? Frustrated.

    I've actually even tried a seperate save starting straight from Episode 2, and Episode 1 loads instead... None of the other episodes seems to even work, and this is off a retail disc.

    I apologize for the inconvenience, and for the delayed response. Please make sure that you have started the game while connected to the internet, and logged into an Xbox Live profile, in order to receive the latest Title Update for the game. After doing so, you will be able to start Episode 2 successfully, and you will not have to be connected to the internet after this one time update.
