Game of Thrones Episode 2: Coming Soon
Hello,
I purchased Game of Thrones directly from your telltale website on launch day, however I cannot get episode 2 to download even though it has been many days since it has been out. (Windows 8)
I've patched the game, tried moving it about, reinstalled, turned firewall off, none of these have any effect.
I've looked at all the support forums none of which were any help.
Is there something I am missing or is there a solution?
If not could you please just give me a steam key for your game as I heard episode 2 if working fine for steam users.
I've wasted many hours trying to get this to work.

If you have downloaded and installed the patch, and made sure to follow the steps in the Game of Thrones PC/Mac Patch Thread and you are still unable to play Episode 2 on PC, please read this Sticky on how to run our Support Tool, and follow the steps to run the tool, and reply here with the download link copied and pasted into a reply. After looking over your Support Tool information, your computer should be able to run the game successfully. I noticed you have the game installed on two different drives on your computer. Can you please clarify if you are able to successfully download and play Episode 2 if you delete the install of the game from your E:\ drive? (Your C:\ drive is your default install location)
That was just me trying to install a fresh copy to see if it worked then.
I've deleted it but still says Episode 2: Coming soon.
Do I have to click download anywhere or should it just automatically work? Episode 1 worked fine.

Can you please clarify if when you open the episodes menu after installing the PC patch, that you see Episode 2 as 'Purchased but not Downloaded' or still 'Coming Soon'? If you see 'Purchased but not Downloaded' you can click on the episode, and it should begin to download.
I've downloaded and installed the patch, can confirm this as when I click it again it says it's already up to date. I go to view episode and it Still says 'Coming Soon' it does NOT say Purchased
My apologies. If you are still unable to download Episode 2, I recommend uninstalling the game (this will not harm your save files) then re-downloading a new installer from our website, and then make sure to follow the instructions in the Game of Thrones PC/Mac Patch Thread to download the patch, then start the game again, and Episode 2 should become available to download. (Please make sure that you install it to the default location.)
I've done everything you said above, even in the default location to install it, patched it, which weirdly said it was already up top date. Launched the game and it still says its coming soon
P.S Which files do I need to copy to make a backup of my saved choices?

If you want to make a backup of your save files, you will need to copy your entire 'Game of Thrones' folder over onto your desktop. If you are still experiencing issues, I would recommend uninstalling Game of Thrones, then download a new installer from our website, then make sure to install the critical Mac patch, and Episode 2 should update and allow you to download it from in-game.
I'm not on a Mac... I've done everything you've told me and it still does not work.Fresh Reinstall, CHECK, Critical Patch, CHECK, it just says episode 2: coming soon. If you cannot tell me a solution could you please either give me a steam key for the game or give me a refund so I can go and buy the game from steam.

My apologies, if you are still experiencing the issue, I am unfortunately out of potential solutions. I recommend contacting/emailing our Support Staff at Support@Telltalegames.com for any inquiries regarding a refund for the game, and make sure to include the email address associated with your Telltale account, and the Order ID number that you received at the time of purchase, and they will be able to assist you further with this particular request.
