I made the eye of the mantee before I got the blank piece of paper out of the mantee. Theres no way to disassemble it and now I have no way to get the blank piece of paper and the autosave goes past the point where I combined it. Do I have to start a new game and do everything over again to use the locket before I combined it to get the blank paper? this sucks.

You shouldn't have to. You just have to use the locket with the manatee.
I already added the other lens to the locket and it wont let me use it on the manatee enymore
