How to backup saves? (Mac/Steam)

Hello Telltale! Really enjoyed both seasons on TWD and can't wait to play season 3.

I'm kinda running out of space on my laptop and want to uninstall season 1 & 2. But I don't want to loose my save states. How do I backup these files so I can use them when season 3 arrives?

    When you uninstall The Walking Dead from your computer, it will ask you if you wish to keep your save files by checking a box in the uninstall process. Make sure that the box is selected when uninstalling the game, and you should be able to keep your save files, and uninstall the game to make room on your computer. If you downloaded the game through Steam, your save files will be saved locally, and you can right click the game within your Steam Library, then click 'Delete Local Content', and the game will uninstall without harming your save files.

    Thank you for your help Mike! But I need to clarify one more thing.

    "If you downloaded the game through Steam, your save files will be saved locally".

    Where exactly? I've right clicked the games on steam library then pressed - properties > local files > browse local files - but i can't find the save files. It only shows the folders which contains 'TheWalkingDead.app' and 'The Walking Dead 2.app', and i've tried looking for the saves inside those apps by pressing 'Show Package Content' when you right click. I haven't dared to press 'Delete Local Game Content...' on steam yet in case I missed something here.

    My apologies, your save files will be in:

    ~/Library/Application Support/ Telltale Games/TheWalkingDead/

    (Your Library folder is sometimes hidden, to make it visible, please open a Finder window, and at the top of the screen, click Go and hold down the Option key. The Library will now become available in the drop down menu. Click that and follow the above file path, and you will see your save files in there.)

    Superb. I found the saves now. I just zip these folders down. Cant wait for Season 3 now!
