Being metallic means Gortys doesn't need sleep. Which means she's never experienced the feeling of being woken up suddenly so she can't understand why she shouldn't wake Fiona up. When Fiona gets woken up she is very cranky and sometimes inadvertently takes it out on Gortys. Which gives the poor little robot difficulties because she can't figure out what she did wrong.
