My friend told me it was number one on Steam. He told me I should get it there but I bought it off the Telltale sight because of the dvd.
All you Monkey Island lovers have been heard load and clear. I'm not even a PC gamer, and have never played an adventure game. This guy at work was talking about it, and everytime I went to a game site or listened to a podcast, there it was. I'm glad you guys have been raving about it because it's well deserved. I'll join you now.

    Nah, that's a good thing.

I read something like that in another thread - someone who bought Telltale games on Steam was disappointed because people who buy it direct from Telltale and can see it in their "Your Games" section can usually get the DVD of the games they bought absolutely free! That's why I love Telltale - it's the way games companies should work everywhere - you buy the game and it feels like you own your copy. They don't make you buy the game all over again just because you want the DVD after buying the downloads unlike some other game companies... not mentioning names but you know who!

Ordinary people don't have a clue what sort of money is normal in small and medium business. They think 100k is a lot of money. In business, that's nothing. That's payrole for two / three people for a year.

If they released their sales figures everyone who has never been in business would start clamoring about getting ripped off, because they would misperceive the scale of the figures.

Telltale employs something like 70 people, most of them probably full time.

Im pretty sure they can say how many copies they sold without causing a unionized protest....

Most companies have no problem releasing their sale numbers and most consumers like to know the #1 game #1 movie #1 song.... Its pretty standard stuff... Some of you act like its Col. Sanders recipe secret.
