Save Files and Glitches

Why is it that everytime I try to continue an episode it starts me back at the beginning of the episode? I'm playing season two. Also, everytime I die it freezes so I have to reboot the game, again having to start from the beginning.

    Can you please clarify what iOS device you are currently playing on? Also, what OS version is it currently updated to?

  • I have the iPhone 5s and it's updated to 7.1.1. Could that be it? I don't have this issue on any other game though.

    The 5s should be able to run the game successfully. I recommend try closing the game and all other applications running in the background. This should free up necessary system resources. (To close an app running in the background on iOS 6 and before: double tap the home button to make all running apps appear at the bottom of the screen, hold down on an app you wish to close and red buttons will appear, tap the red buttons to close the apps. If on iOS 7/8, double tap the home button and swipe up on the open apps to close them) Also, please turn off your iOS device for at least three minutes before attempting to play the game again. This will allow the device’s cache to clear.

    Then after restarting your device, please reset the WiFi by turning the WiFi Settings Off, and back On again. Then try starting the game application again, and see if you are able to successfully start the game.

    If you are unable to continue from where you left off the last time you played, please make sure that you have reached an autosave point in the game before closing/exiting the app. Please also make sure that you do not close out of the app during an autosaving or loading sequence, or your save files may become corrupted.
