    Ahh, it's been a week...

But I'm still obsessed. Ramin Djawadi is a genius.

    Why you steal my thunder?

I like songs with no lyrics most of the time. Here's a classic.

Hey, I know what you're thinking. And my response is: I'm really really REALLY sorry.

  • Why you steal my thunder?

    It's not my fault that I'm 2fast4you.

    It's your fault cause you're 2slow4yourself. :^)

I stumbled upon this song last night, and I'm so glad I did. The words and her voice are so beautiful. I did some research, and it turns out she's reciting a poem by Charles Causley, which she turned into a melody. Amazing! How does this not have more views?

    Song of the Dying Gunner

Oh mother my mouth is full of stars

    As cartridges in the tray

My blood is a twin-branched scarlet tree

    And it runs all runs away;

Oh cooks to the galley is sounded off

And the lads are down in the mess

But I lie down by the forward gun

With a bullet in my breast.

Don’t send me a parcel at Christmas time

Of socks and nutty and wine

    And don’t depend on a long week-end

    By the Great Western line.

Farewell Aggie-Weston. The barracks at Guz,

Hang my tiddley suit on the door

I’m sewn up neat in a canvas sheet,

And I shan’t be home no more.

Because not everything I like is metal:

Funny how it points out how musicians(actors etc) fall into this after the hits stop coming. It's true.

    Unlocking the truth- monster

I heard this song on a metal playlist and had it stuck in my head for days so I googled it and discovered its a band of kids, they are the most awesome kids I've seen in ages and this song was written when they were 11 and 12. I have a lotta love for these boys.

[This is more of a looping excerpt as opposed to a full song, but it's still great]

I just learned about this guy today, so now I'm listening to it on repeat of course. And each time it gets just a little bit creepier.

  • Creepy walkie-talkie conversations of foreign people—accidentally.

  • I could see that sneaking into a Telltale game at some point. ;)
