That song was used in a fan GMV for Wolf Among Us, a short while before the game premiered; it's how I found out about that song! That song gives me an interesting trip down memory lane!
There's a strong case of this being the first prominent thrash song. Whether or not that is true, I don't know. It's pretty damn awesome for 1977 though.
If they say
Who cares if one more light goes out?
In a sky of a million stars
It flickers, flickers
Who cares when someone's time runs out?
If a moment is all we are
We're quicker, quicker
Who cares if one more light goes out?
Well I do
Whenever someone has asked me if I know of any female hard rock bands, I've had to wimp out and list ones with a female lead singer, but most of the instruments are being played by guys. I've finally found one that doesn't need that restriction - The Amorettes!
Missed it by just a few days but it's OK COMPUTER's 20th anniversary. An album that I wholly discovered by accident - making Radiohead since discovering the rest of their discography - my favourite band. Although these days I'm swinging towards the more of The Bends era of Radiohead, it's crazy to deny that every song on this album is a near masterpiece (in my opinion of course). It's a beautiful rainy night and I'm meant to be doing my coursework, but I'll just let it slide this once and listen to its entirety once again.

Priest cut better songs from their albums than most artists produce as singles.
Good old 80's song. Love INXS
I know, I just posted about The Amorettes three days ago, but they just released a funny new low-budget video today!
