Brand new Nexus 7. Can't download episode 5

I've have just bought a brand new Nexus 7 tablet, delivered to me today by Amazon.co.uk. Other than what came by default on it, the only thing to be installed is The Walking Dead season 1.

I have downloaded everything up to episode 5 and yet that just keeps giving me a connection error.

Ps. Why do I need to enter a Captcha to post here?

    The Captcha requirement is so that spam/bot accounts are unable to post without completing that requirement. This should only be required for the first few posts/comments you make.

    If you are unable to successfully download Episode 5 on your Android device, please try force closing the game application, and turning off your device. Then wait 5-10 minutes to turn it back on, then after it has turned on, reconnect with you WiFi network, and start the game application and see if you are then able to download the fifth episode. You can also try resetting your wireless network access point (modem/router) and see if you receive a stronger connection after it has finished resetting.

    If the issue persists, please also try connecting to a different WiFi network, and see if that connection is stronger and allows you to download the episode successfully.

  • I was trying to download on my home network and was getting the error. Incidentally absolutely no problem downloading the season on either Steam, Xbox 360, or Xbox One. I eventually got stuff downloaded after many, many tries.

    Seems to me the problem was not with my connection but with the android port of the game.
