New patch...?
I currently have all 3 episodes of GoT installed on my Mac and have played them, more or less without incident. Today I thought I'd replay episode 3 on a different save file, so I opened the game...but it crashed before it got past the "connecting to DLC" bit on the opening screen. So I opened it again, and it worked that time, but I only had time to look at my previous choices in my original save file before I needed to close the game again and go take care of some real life stuff. So just now I opened the game again to replay episode 3, but when it opened it informed me I need to install a critical patch before installing any more episodes. I thought it was a little weird since that hadn't happened an hour earlier when I opened the game, so I clicked on the episode list in-game to see if that meant there was a new episode, but found the episode list all messed up, listing episode one multiple times and running off the screen. It also told me again about the critical patch needed when I clicked on the episode list. So...this all just seemed a little weird to me since it didn't happen earlier in the day when I opened the game, and when I checked the forums there was nothing about a new patch being needed. So I guess my question is...what's this all about? Thanks.

It was my mistake, I forgot I recently had to reset my system. I just applied the patch released with episode 2 and everything seems to be fine now. I assumed the patch had been integrated into the basic download-file and didn´t think about additionally downloading the mentioned patch.
Bye = )
Thank you for providing the extra information on how you were able to resolve your issue, I hope you are now able to enjoy the game!
Sorry for the delay in reply! I was only able to get back to this today. Here's the download link for the support tool information: https://www.sendspace.com/file/x3njko
And strangely enough, when I took a screenshot of the Episodes menu, the screenshot was completely black, though the screen at the time...wasn't. I'm going to go back in and just take a photo of it with my phone; be back with that in a minute.
Here's a photo of what the messed up Episodes screen looks like: https://www.sendspace.com/file/j5iwx5
Let me know if you need anything else!
My apologies. It does not appear that anything looks wrong with your file directories in your Support Tool information. If you are currently seeing that Episodes screen, your patch files may have become corrupted. I recommend try re-installing the Mac Patch that you downloaded in-game, from our website. You can download the patch installer in This PC/Mac Patch Thread. After you have downloaded it, please double-click it to run it, and follow the steps in the thread to install it, and you should not receive this message or broken episodes screen again.
That seemed to do the trick, thank you! Just out of curiosity...how might my patch files randomly become corrupted? It's frustrating to have to download (multiple times) a "patch" that seems large enough to be pretty much the whole game all over again.
You're welcome, enjoy the game!
There was a small window of time where our older patch was available, and if you had downloaded and installed that, before our updated patch, the files may have not communicated with each other properly.
