PC disc - game will not open

Hello, game will not load at all. Downloaded properly several times, rebooted computer, tried everything in the "try this first" section. Please advise.

    I apologize for the inconvenience. Can you please clarify if you are able to reach the 'Click to Continue' starting screen, or a blank/black screen, or does nothing ever load when you click the game's icon after installing it?

    Have also tried closing down McAfee and also disconnecting from the internet. Together, and separately, no dice.

    Can you please clarify what you mean by 'Downloaded properly several times'? When you put the disc in, and double click the disc installer, are you able to install the game successfully, but not start the game? Also, when you reach the black/blank screen, are you possibly able to see the game's screen properly if you start the game, then switch the game to Windowed Mode using the PC Shortcut (Alt+Enter)?
