Pre-Ordering with VISA doesn't work ... why?
Erm ... I just wanted to pre-purchase ToMI last-minute, entered the Billing Adress, entered Credit Card Number, Expiration Date, CVV, submitted the order and then it says "We don't accept the card type you selected. Please use another card." But above it says that VISA is accepted. When I type in my number, a green thumb appears (which is obviously meant to tell me: hey, you did sth. right) and VISA is highlighted as the card type above.
So: Why on earth won't Telltale Games accept it when I want to submit the order? Did anyone else encounter problems like this? I'm from Germany, but I thought that pre-ordering the game from here should work just as fine as from anywhere else in Europe? Or could that be the problem?

Ah well ... but wouldn't life be boring without problems like this occuring? Hmm ... probably not.
Try using PayPal with the same credit card linked up to your PayPal account.
Also, you can pay via PayPal without creating an account with them; just proceed through the checkout then enter your creditcard information on the PayPal site - when you first get there there's a link left of the login box for paying directly without using an account.

Thanks for the reply. It's not a Visa Electron. And I don't have a PayPal account.
Ok, thanks. I have my doubts about PayPal. I can't really say why, but somehow I don't really want to have an account with them. And I'm wondering how safe the transaction is when I do it without having an account (as you suggest). But probably that's just me, being a chronic hypochondriac concerning transactions over the internet.
I'm trying paypall for my very first time. I think that paypall gets some commission, though
