How appropriate, you post like a cow.

Seriously, though, see my previous post on this subject.

Telltale has stated on several occasions that they want to be awake and in-office when they "flip the switch," in case anything goes horribly wrong, and need to provide technical support. So, I would not expect the game to be released any sooner than the late morning hours of July 7th (PST, of course).
I would guess around 18-20 hours from now.

Well it's still the 7th, and they said they would release on the 7th. I don't care about their time zone, I'm only concerned about mine!

This is why we needed an hours/minutes countdown.
  • edited July 2009
It's overdue since, waiting, 18 minutes by now (CEST) already. :O)
  • edited July 2009
We europeans will not see the game untill 08:00 and probably later than that.
  • edited July 2009
I was expecting midnight seriously, but 9 or 8am seems reasonable to me.

It's still 8am for me, but I still expect it today!

    MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
  • edited July 2009
It's highlighted in the account already. Come on TTG, press that button!

Btw isn't it kind of, well, unfair, that reviews are around already? I definately won't read one until i played the game on my own but the internet feels kind of mined this way.

Damn americans and their slow timezones.

Get with the times America, today is the 7th!
  • edited July 2009
Coming the 7th as much as we like or hate it means, they have the full 24 hours of that day, they could actully release it on the 7th at 23:59. hehe.

Go to bed now, like the rest of us, at it will be there after a good healthy 8hours of sleep.
  • edited July 2009
Why would I got to bed!

    IT'S EIGHT IN THE MORNING
  • edited July 2009
The game is probably still 15-20 hours away

I hope I can play it when I wake up...

    Almost 1AM 7/7 now.

It's almost 4pm Monday in Telltale land right now.

Games tend to be released between 10am and noon, so you have around 18-20 hours left to wait, probably.

Gah 8am here in Japan too.
Do want, do want, do want.
  • edited July 2009
Be patient, comrades. The game might be released even at 11.59 pm on July the 7-th, and still be considered "just-in-time" :)
And really, in USA there is just about to be the 6-th July afternoon ;)
  • edited July 2009
It's now 0003 BST. I stayed up all night for nothing. Awww dammit
  • edited July 2009
Gee, I'm from Catalonia and I really didn't think about the timezone difference... crap.
  • edited July 2009
Just as well really or I'd still be playing when I should be getting up for work.
    Ha! ha!

    Ja en som 3!

I think it was Jake who said they'll wait until 7th's morning (in their time zone) in order to be able to give technical support to customers on the game release.
  • edited July 2009
Why must this happen every release? It will probably come out on the 7th in TTG land. It might come out on the 8th in TTG land. If you live someplace with a completely different time zone, don't sit around on your 7th. Instead do something productive. Like learning about time zones.

JUMP IN. IT GOES TO TOMORROW!
Or Hell. I forget which one...
  • edited July 2009
hehe yeah I would have stayed up, if there were any point....

It's 9:45am now - I know that online reviews have been given a embargo of 3PM today so I'm guessing that's when the solid release is planned, but until I have solid word I guess I'll just keep checking back :D
  • edited July 2009
wait i may still get a credit card so i can do the preorder!! i still have a few hours left!
  • edited July 2009
Gah stuffit. Telltale should have said more about timezones, especially when it seems that the majority of their sales occurred outside America.

I'll just wait until tomorrow. America needs to hurry up though, cos compared to Australia (me), America is just so yesterday.

Hey wait does that mean I could like tell you guys about the future and you could win at lottery and stuff? I'd ask for 50% but I'm up for that if anyone else is.

    God!!!!
Is it even the 7th for TellTale yet? Here in Canada, Calgary it is 6pm on the 6th....

    I want Monkey Island!!!
  • edited July 2009
Seriously, Telltale is an AMERICAN company, why is this such a shock to you? It's not even evening here in California.
  • edited July 2009
    It's not a shock, it's just annoying.

And it's 10AM of the 7th now! I expected Monkey Island an hour ago!

(Actually I expected it at about 5PM tonight, which is midnight on the 7th in America. I'm irritated I have to wait an extra day)

Somebody is angry because they don't have their dose of MI... haha!

I was just asking a question because I would love to know the timezone for their company....

The forum clock says it's 12:12 am already. Hurry up, Telltale!
  • edited July 2009
So the waiting game. Fortunately I have some stuff to do, but I think there will be much anticipation posting in the mean time...
