Game asks for controller PS3 on startup

Hi,

I recently tried to play the 2nd (and later) chapter of the GoT game on my PS3. However, on startup it says that there is no controller found in port 1. I can only press OK (which I do with, guess what, the controller of port 1) and I get back to the same screen. I use a PS4 controller and it is obviously found by the PS3 itself as I can press the OK button and navigate the menu's etc. However, the game won't start and I end up in an infinite loop of screens asking for a controller in port 1 (which I also cannot leave, rebooting the PS3 is the only solution).
Please tell me how I can circumvent this obvious bug and actually play the game.

    I apologize for the inconvenience, unfortunately at this time only the Dualshock 3 controller is supported to play on the PS3 version of the game at this time. I will make sure to pass along your interest in using the PS4 controller in the PS3 version of the game, along to the team!
