serious game lag WD season 2 disc Xbox 360

Recently started the season 2 game. Playing off the disc (can't install for some reason, install option not available) connected to the net or not...the game has SERIOUS lag throughout. I've read threads on clearing cashe which I did and I'm still having issues.
Is there a patch? Any other suggestions? I have a Xbox 360 4G. 3 G available.

I apologize for the inconvenience. If you are still experiencing the issue after Clearing your System Cache on a 4GB Xbox 360, this particular console will not be able to play the game, as the 4GB internal flash memory will not suffice in order for the game to cache properly. As stated on the cover of the game case, an internal hard drive is required to play the game. Acquiring and installing an internal hard disk drive compatible with your Xbox360 4GB console will resolve this issue (a hard disk drive connected via your Xbox 360’s USB port will NOT provide a remedy).

  • Thank you!

  • What about those who has 250GB Xbox 360? I have one and the lag is reaaaaaal deaaal.

If you are currently using a 250GB model Xbox 360 and are seeing any lagging/hitching during gameplay, please first try Clearing your System's Cache by following the steps in this Microsoft Support Webpage:

    http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/system/clear-system-cache

If this still does not resolve your issue, we have had multiple reports from users stating that they were able to improve the framerates of their Xbox 360 disc versions by starting an episode, then pausing the game and waiting 5-10 minutes to allow the game to cache. Then unpause the game, and the hitching/lagging issue you are experiencing in the game should be lessened, if not completely resolved.

You can also try starting the game while disconnected from the internet, and see if there is a difference in the performance of the game.

My apologies, I have not heard of this particular issue before. This particular issue may be due to the scratch on the CD. I recommend try exchanging the disc for another copy at the retailer you purchased it from if you have the ability to.

  • Try to convince him with that huge sign "No returning/exchanging discs". Guy's stubborn as a mule. I've been thinking.. Do you have open slots if I must ask, applying for some sort of a olace within the range of voice acting/writing. Can't be physically available, but that's why the internet was made.

For voice acting, we usually hire using third-party agencies. You can always email our Info@Telltalegames.com email address for more information regarding how you can get that kind of a job. For Writing, I recommend checking our Jobs board using the 'Jobs' button at the top of the page, and see if we currently have any open positions in that particular department. Again, my apologies I was unable to assist you further with your issue.
