Episodes 2-6 "coming soon

Hi, I read the threads about the problem and DID install the patch but I still get the same screen when I enter the "Episodes" page. It still says 2-6 "coming soon". I was not able to get the episodes to work even with the patch and trying to change the settings, I installed the patch like 3 times to double-check if I made a mistake. please give me a hand in resolving this problem, it's no fun playing only the first part.

I apologize for the inconvenience. If you are still experiencing the issue after updating to the latest Updated Critical PC/Mac Patch, please try deleting the 'GameOfThrones_patch.mft' file from your 'Game of Thrones' folder located here:

    C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Telltale Games\Game of Thrones\

    or if on Mac:

    ~/Library/Application Support/ Telltale Games/Game of Thrones/

(Your Library folder is sometimes hidden, to make it visible, please open a Finder window, and at the top of the screen, click Go and hold down the Option key. The Library will now become available in the drop down menu. Click that and follow the above file path, and delete the file specified above.)

Then restart the game while connected to the internet, and Episode 3 should become available to download in-game.

thanks for the input, but for some reason I can not name, there is no such folder on my mac. I can't see a Telltale Games folder at all. if you have any clue what might have gone wrong with the installation I would be very greatful.

I know it's not your fault, but I'm starting to get a little pissed off by the game. I found the game of thrones folder, but there is no patch folder in there, also no file named like you suggested in your first post.
i did replace the game by the patched version like 5 times by now and nothing changed. I have absolutely no idea what I did wrong. Even when I search my mac for the file above, there is no result, I can't imaginge why. And there is also no option in the game to download a patch or anything. It also takes ages to start the game, first it's looking for a connection and checking for DLC... like 3-5 minutes and when it finally starts and I go to "episodes" i still get the screen with "game of thrones" season pass purchased, but only the first one is "purchased&installed" the others "coming soon"
it takes forever to download the "patch" and it changes nothing at the game. when I put the patched version in the applications, end the game, install the new one and replace the older version it's still the same :/
what else can I do? and is there a chance that my mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 is not the right operating system for the game?
if there is no solution I'd like to get a partial refund, as I'm not able to play the whole game I payed for.

If you have installed the latest available updated Mac Patch, you should have Episodes 2-4 as available to download. If you are still experiencing issues, can you please clarify if you are connected through a wired connection, or through a wireless network connection? If you were connected wirelessly, I recommend try either connecting through a wired connection, or try resetting your wireless network access point (Modem/Router), then try starting the game again after you have reconnected, and see if the game then updates to show the downloadable episodes as available to download and play.

  • hi again, i disconnected my wifi and reconnected it, problem still stands, and I don't quite understand why a software problem has anything to do with the internet-connection. It's not possible to connect with a wire, the router is too far away from my computer, connection is still pretty good, though. It was a brand new router and I don't want to reset it, as I don't want to do all the settings I made all over again.
could you please explain what the connection has to do with the update-problem?

After looking over your Support Tool information, I cannot seem to find a reason for the issue you are experiencing. You can also try resetting your wireless network access point (Modem/Router) by turning it off (and/or pulling the power cord out of the back) and wait 10-15 seconds. Then plug it back in, and let it start back up. After it has started and is re-connected to the internet, then try starting the game again, and the game should then be able to update using the stronger internet connection after you have reset your router, and allow you to see Episodes 2-4 as available to download in-game.

  • Well, I unplugged my router completely, left if off for a while (couple of hours, as I had an appointment), restarted it and it's still not working, as you can see on the picture. A screenshot from 2 minutes ago, there is no download option for the other episodes. I don't know what went wrong when I bought the game here :/

I'm getting sick of it, sorry. Thanks a lot for your help, but it seems like a waste of time. I'd like a partial refund, if you could offer me some kind of "compensation", that would be very kind of you.
I'm so grateful for your help, and also very sorry that it was pointless after all :(
If you have any ideas left of how to fix it, or what's causing the problem, I'd like to try, but I'm so disappointed of the problem I'm experiencing, that it spoiled my fun playing the game anyway.
    Hopefully you can understand.

  • I did not get a Ticket ID number, what I do have is the receipt for my order and the order number, which is
    Order: #974749
    Date: June 2, 2015, 8:21 am

where would I find a ticket id number?

  • TelltaleMikeTelltaleMike Former Telltale Staff

If you have sent an email to our Support Staff at the email address Support@Telltalegames.com, you should have received an auto-reply from our system with a Ticket ID number of your email/ticket. If you did not receive an auto-response, I would double check and make sure that you have sent the email to Support@Telltalegames.com, and also check if the auto-response email was accidently sent to a Spam filter in your email browser. If you did not receive an auto-response, I recommend sending another email to Support, and then reply here with your Ticket ID number, and I will make sure to get your issue looked at soon.
