New Record for Telltale

Well guys, not only is this an historic day because of the release of a new Monkey Island game, but we have also broken the record for most users online ever on the Telltale forums.

Most users ever online was 788, Today at 02:15 pm.

UPDATE: Most users ever online was 1,006, Today at 03:26 pm.

The 1,000 user threshold has been breached congratulations guys!

With over 500 being on the Tales of Monkey Island General Discussion board and the Private Pirates board floating around 100, I think this is another reason to celebrate!

Also, notice that none of the Telltale team is on the forums right now, so this is completely due to us! (but that doesn't mean they can't check in!!)

In light of this achievement, I believe it's time for us to have a check-in thread. Simply make a post checking in so that your forum ID will be remembered for the day that we broke this record because of the release of a new Monkey Island game.

    it's a pretty insane place to be right now, can't keep up with all the new posts - especially in that new huge stickied thread at the top.

    I'll check in, and also brag about having first post in the epic sticky thread :)

    It's been great fun getting into the Telltale community in the wake of the MI announcements, the Sam & Max games are great but I didn't wander over here until Monkey Island.

    Yeah, this could really put Telltale on the map (not to say that they aren't already, but Monkey Island is a HUGE franchise).

    It's crazy..I've been checking in all day and it's been pretty much since the early hours here in Europe.

    I've played Telltale's games in the past, but I've always been happy to wait until they get published on discs. Sam & Max Season 2 is out by the end of the month!

    When it comes to Monkey Island, waiting is impossible. I must have it as soon as it's ready to download. Sam & Max is great, and all...but Monkey Island is the highest etchelon of point-and-click adventure-y awesomeness, and I have butterflies in my stomach waiting for it.

    VIVA F5, staring blankly into my monitor for so long has woken a raging hunger that can only be satisfied by a play on episode 1. cant wait, and i may have to take it out on the three headed monkey. NOW NOW NOW... i'm breaking down guys!
