Running on Gog galaxy and have no issues with any other game including running witcher 3 on ultra settings so i know my PC is good enough
Exact same thing is happening here. Same point as well, right after he begins to run away. Also using GOG galaxy.
Hey pecker99, I solved the problem by uninstalling the gog galaxy client and reinstalling the game off of the gog website. Works fine now.
ok thank you for that i shall try it with fingers crossed as i have tried everything else!
Hey pecker, I've been having this same problem too and I've been sneakily eyeing this forum discussion for the answer. The problem may lie with having a controller plugged in while playing. Last night I tried Monkeh's steps to fix the problem but it didn't work for me. Today I tried playing it without a controller and I finally passed the part in question without crashing. I'm still using GoG Galaxy to play so it works that way for me. Since the game autosaved in the next part, I'm going to try plugging my controller back in to see if still works. Hope this helps.
Update: I'm getting a consistent crash not even 5 minutes past the first crash point. I've exhausted all of my troubleshooting options. I've played it windowed, without a controller with anti-aliasing off, among other things and I can't get it to work. GoG support/TellTale support is my last option otherwise I'm going to get a refund. Let me know if you have better luck.
Someone found a solution. You have to Move/Delete/Rename Galaxy.dll.

That's right. GoG support just got back to me today and they said the same thing and the game works perfectly for me now.
