White Screen on Startup
I am unable to start Tales from the Borderlands. On startup my screen turns white but audio plays. Attempt to go to windowed mode (alt+enter) crashes the program.
Resolution steps I have tried:
Verified the game’s cache
Uninstalled and reinstalled the game
Lowering my monitor resolution to 1080p (natively it is 4k)
Disable my secondary monitors
I am on the latest Nvidia driver version 353.30 (released on 6/22/15). My computer exceeds the games requirements as well.

same problem only my screens black and when I alt tab and re open it it is white
I apologize for the inconvenience. Please try starting the game again, and when you see the blank/white/black screen, please try switching the game to Windowed Mode using the shortcut (Alt+Enter for PC, Command+F for Mac) and see if you are then able to see the game correctly. If so, please then try changing the game's resolution and/or graphics settings to a lower setting, and click Apply. Then try switching back to Full Screen Mode by using the same shortcut, and your issue should then be resolved.
Attempting to go windowed mode crashes the game.
The best success I have had was disabling all my monitors. Lowering my 4k primary monitor to the lowest resolution. Then deleting the file located in C:\Users\\Documents\telltale games\Tales from the Borderlands\prefs.prop
This allows me to start the game unfortunately trying to change the resolution to anything but the default value returns me to the white screen. I tried 1080, 1440, and 4k.
Sometimes during the white screen crash my computer will restart.
Looking at the prefs.prop file it I can see one fragment about a gpu "AMD Radeon R9 200 Series 3810MB (4066MB dedicated)". My computer has an NVIDIA gpu and unsure why this value is recorded. I am unsure if this is relevant but maybe the game is trying to load assets that do not exist because I am not using AMD gpu drivers?
My apologies, please read this Sticky on how to run our Support Tool, and follow the steps to run the tool, and reply here with the download link copied and pasted into a reply. You can find the Sticky here:

After looking over your Support Tool information, your system is well above the minimum system requirements. I noticed that the game, and Steam, are both installed to your
\ drive, while your save file directory is located on your default drive (C:\ drive). I recommend try re-creating your save file directory on your
\ drive (Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Telltale Games\Tales From The Borderlands) or reinstalling the game and an instance of Steam onto your C:\ drive. Then start the game, and you should be able to play without experiencing the white screen.
That solved my problem. Thank you very much.
You're welcome, again, my apologies for any difficulties this has caused, and I hope you are now able to enjoy the game!
