I have the exact same problem. Here is my download link: https://www.sendspace.com/file/vx6om6
Had the same problem. I made a full new installation of episode 3 instead of replacing just archives folder. That fixed it. Also dont forget to rename saves folder (like C:\Users\USER\Documents\Telltale Games\Tales from the Borderlands) to match new installation directory name. For example, I installed the game in
\Games\Tales from the Borderlands3, then renamed saves folder directory to C:\Users\USER\Documents\Telltale Games\Tales from the Borderlands3. After that everything is fine and save files are presented.
@biokiller7 Please make sure that you have downloaded and installed the latest Critical PC/Mac Patch available for the game. After it has been downloaded and installed, then start the game again and you should be able to successfully progress past that point in the episode.
i did all that and its still not working
Below are a few possible solutions that may resolve the crashing for you:
1) Ensure you have the latest drivers for both your graphics card, and your computer’s BIOS
2) Restart your system
3) Verify your cache if you purchased through Steam (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335)
4) Run the game as admin
5) Run the game in compatibility mode (right click on game’s icon, click properties, click compatibility tab , and we recommend running the game in Windows 98/ME ) (We recommend Windows 98/ME)
6) Reinstall the game
7) Make sure that the Steam application is not set to a compatibility mode (right click on steam and click properties, then check compatibility, and make sure that it is not checked to play in a different OS)
8) Disable Steam Overlay, if you purchased through Steam (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3168263)
9) Opt out of the Steam Beta, if you purchased through Steam (http://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/828934424165581080/)
If this does not resolve your issue, could you please clarify if you are playing the GOG version of the game? If so, you can just reply that you are playing the GOG version.
If you are playing the Telltale Games version, or the Steam version, and you are still crashing after the above responses, please read this Sticky on how to run our Support Tool, and follow the steps to run the tool, and reply here with the download link copied and pasted into a reply. @Sky45 After looking over your Support Tool information, it seems that your computer is running below the minimum system requirements to run the game successfully. Where we require a minimum of 512mb of dedicated memory, your computer is currently running at 0mb of dedicated memory. I recommend either trying to update your current graphics card's drivers to the latest version as they have not been updated in a while. Then see if you are able to play the game successfully, or you could try playing the game on a computer above minimum system requirements if you have the ability to.
You can also try changing the game's resolution and graphics settings to a lower setting, and then continue the episode, and see if your issue is resolved.
I found a solution.
Change the Resolution to 800 X 600.
Run the game as administrator.
It should be fine. ( it worked for me at least)
