Episode 2 Error, Can't Escape the Caravan Menu

I downloaded episode 2 through the Season Pass available on the 360 a few days ago, however no matter how many times I reset the game or reload it, I cannot exit the caravan upgrade menu "Scooter" prompts you to enter in game. The sound glitches out and stops, the game does not load the option information, and I can't exit the upgrade menu unless I completely exit out of the game.
I've not been quite sure if I need to re-download the episode to fix this problem or how I should go about doing that, as I purchased it through the season pass rather than through the marketplace.
I've tried multiple times reloading and resetting the game with no success, any help would be super appreciated!

    We have released an update that will resolve this particular issue. If you are currently playing on PS3/PS4/Xbox One/PC/Mac/iOS/Android you should be able to update to the latest version, and your issue will be resolved. If you are playing on an Xbox 360, we have already submitted a patch/update to Microsoft that will resolve this issue, and hope for it to go live soon. In the meantime you can resolve this issue with the workaround steps below:

    1. Uninstall Episode 3
    2. Play Episode 2
    3. Install Episode 3 again and play
