Am I the only one disappointed with the movement system ?

Seriously, what was wrong with "plain" point and click ? Hopefully future episodes will have the option to switch between the two, but I'm not holding my breath.
Don't mean to sound picky, but it really bugs me. Anyone with me on this ?

You obviously didn't look at the forums before you posted if you think you're the only one.

I just beat the game and I gotta say it didn't bother me that much. After playing it for one hour or so, you totally forgot or didn't care how this movement system worked. Even though I'm a point and click-fan I still liked what I played. And can't say this was a bad move by Telltale. Arrggh, I'm The mighty Pirate Guybrush Threepwood!

I understand that a point and click system would be difficult with the cinematic camera angles. I prefer to keep the camera angles over the point and click.

I just use the keyboard more than the mouse with movement like this.
