He's around here somewhere! Selling used treasure maps, apparently.

Hope so, his voice actor was a riot in Curse.

I'm quite sure he will pop up in future episodes. mainly because they already hinted at him in episode 1.

I would allso like to see murray again :D ( just finished this chapter now, and I LOVED it! )

    "Can I call you Bob?"
    "YOU MAY CALL ME MURRAY!"

I would say Stan is a shoe-in for an appearance now that he has been mentioned already.

It's just not MI without Stan.

agree, think he will def be in it as he's already been hinted at in Narwhal, he will be selling maps on one of the island surely.

I hear a man flailing his arms around whilst talking is selling maps.

I really hope that doesn't count to Telltale as an appearance. It was great to have him referenced, but I really want to see him!

I wouldn't be surprised to see some cameos in future chapters - you don't want them all in the 1st one now do you?

I'm not sure if I want to see Stan this time. It was fun to see the results of Stan on Flotsam island - y'know, the bombs. It might be nice to see the results of Stan all over the place but somehow avoid him personally.

I just don't want to see Stan for Stan's sake. Stan would be worthwhile if the fellas making the game can maintain the quality they've given us!

Oh go on then, I'm feeling lucky.

This is the big question, whats Stan selling this time? I say we start a contest, closest wins...

I say Stan is selling boat insurance...

I'll bet he's selling women--a blind date business owner. He's been a boat salesman, coffin salesman, a grave plot salesman and did a stint in condo timeshares. It's time to move on to people!

The BIG question is can Telltale's engine handle the unique properties of Stan's jacket?

I will be very upset if it can't. Technically it should be simple to do, and it's something that NEEDS to be done right. That jacket is AMAZING.

If the jacket isn't done right, I'll sadly have to say I'd rather have no Stan at all.
Stan isn't Stan without his amazing jacket.

of course.. I'm sure they will put one of the most loved characters in a future episode.

You' wouldn't believe what pixel shaders can do nowadays. :D

Of course I wouldn't be totally surprised if it wouldn't look totally right at the lower graphics settings... ;)

I'd rather not see Stan very soon - perhaps a flaw with the more recent MI games was that there were a whole lot of things recycled. A few cameos are great, but some gags can start to run a little thing. I thought the Stan reference was great in the game, but don't really want to see him unless he's used in a novel way. Using too many ideas / gags from previous games would be lazy storytelling to be honest.

    I'll take this challenge!
I say Stan is running what is essentially a pawn shop, that would explain how he was able to sell both mini-bombs and a map!

Both of which worked as advertised, surprisingly!
