It'd be funny if they're both traitors
Imagine if while one is confessing the other is still secretly a traitor as well. Neither of them knew of each others treachery.

No...It wouldn't. It would be an even worse twist than this one.
See, that kind of a twist would have worked better too! Like if they had both been working together but traded off who sent the message or who got the orders.
They can't possibly pull a bigger bullshit than it already is. The traitor makes no sense... ridiculous. If there were really two of them then I'm flipping the table.
