What the hell? I maimed Gryff...
In episode 4 i beat the crap out of Gryff all the way until Lady Elissa stops me and then i spat on him.His face was so bloody and messy
But when we see Gryff in episode 5 which is a few weeks later he seems perfectly fine with not even a scratch on his face with his smug smile when Harys kills Rodrik and does what Rodrik did to Gryff...

The game didn't tell you Gryff had magical powers of healing and that maiming him or not didn't matter in the slightest? Really?
But i maimed him..... I broke his cheekbone into his eye withe the hilt of my sword...How did it heal?

Another thing that makes this episode bad.
Same sort of thing happened if you choose to spare that guy that killed your family. Start of the next episode, he turns out to be dead anyway, and you were the one that killed him.
If Telltale has already determined that someone is going to die, or that someone isn't going to have their face smashed in, then DON'T GIVE US THE OPTION.
Seriously. They've done it twice for one series, even though none of the others have such a galling plot hole in them. I'm starting to wonder if this is one of those things where there is a canon set of answers that have to be referenced in future episodes.
At this rate, maybe we will find out that our final choice on who to save for Episode 5 will also be found out to have been a false choice, and, no matter who you chose to survive, next episode, the survivor will always be X character.
If they are just going to crap on our choices anyway. They may as well do this. That way, I'd at least feel that one of them would be able to survive this. It's hard to believe the one you picked will live for much longer, now that he is a determinate character.
Yeah, that was literally one of my only problems with the episode. I pretty much knocked the dude's eye out. WTF TellTale?! I know you rush this crap, but come on.
This is a bit off topic, but I find it funny how some people after the last episode wrote in the forum...
"I felt so bad for Gryff" (referencing his difficult childhood and the "torture" scene)
And this I found more entertaining, than this episode to be straight with you.

It's like Telltale just gave a huge "Fuck you." this episode from the maim Gryff option. If you showed him Mercy, Ramsey acts like you didn't...and if you didn't show mercy then Gryff is all perfectly fine.

Yeah, I saw the actual model, it was still an issue in the beginning.
When Ramsey was talking about how he left you half the ironwood, I wanted to say "Too bad the Whitehills went against that and are starting to take ours."
I had the same reaction. I decided to let it slide, then he asked if I showed mercy to Gryff when he was killing Arthur and I couldn't tell him that I did show mercy to him. I wish telltale gave us these dialogue options, any person in Rodrik's place would be saying that, but for some reason we couldn't.
IMO this whole episode just...wasn't there.

Why would he still be bloody if he has an eye patch? It's so much easier to clean off blood than find an eye patch.
I can't believe no one knows the solution to this.. Asher said he was on the boat for WEEKS with the pit fighters and he could use a good fight.
Gryff healed by then, his eye must have survived somehow and was nursed back to health.
That's the model from when Gryff ambushes you? I understand the eyepatch and everything, but why is his mouth and nose covered in blood? I crippled his eye. Not his mouth or nose. It looks like he was just recently attacked.

It's satisfying, but I don't think that was the model. Because the Whitehill soldiers probably would have cleaned up the blood around his mouth and nose. Sure there would be scars, but there wouldn't be blood stains.
The only way they could explain this is blood magic. I doubt that Gryff used a witch just to restore his face though.
Guy who made that image here. TTG left the eyepatch in the files, but no face texture - so I had to compromise with the just-maimed texture.
