Game of Thrones Doesn't Work
I played episodes 1-3 with little to no crashes or problems, but when the episode 4 update came out the game launches into a black screen for a couple of seconds with no error message, and I play this game through steam on PC.

After looking over your Support Tool information, everything appears to be set up correctly. I did notice quite a few crash dump files in your Steam 'Game of Thrones' folder. Can you please clarify if the game ever crashed during an autosaving or loading sequence? If so, your save files may have become corrupted in the process, and they would unfortunately need to be deleted.
The same thing has happened to me. I've tried to uninstall and install it again but the same problem has happened. I can't even open the game to delete my saved files. I've downloaded the last episode but I just can't start the game. I don't play via steaming, I've downloaded through PS3 store.
We are currently looking into a potential fix for the PS3 black screen issue, and I hope to have more information about it soon. When I have any updates to provide, I will post them in This Discussion Thread. Keep an eye out there for news!
I just bought episode 5 also and been looking forward to it for a long time since episode 4 and yeah blank screen on ps3 also, thank you for looking into it and hope the fix comes soon as I'm sure I'm not the only one craving to play the episode please try to get it fixed quickly.
I have all 5 episodes for Xbox One and my sister and I have been playing recently. My sister saved halfway through Episode 3 and now when we try to play the screen freezes. We start the game, click A, gears spin to connect to server then freezes like that. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, turned the system on and off, rebooted my internet 3 times, but it still does this. HELP!!
@Spyro-Mello Please try clearing the console's system cache by hard resetting the console. To do this, please hold down the power button on the console while it is on, for 10 seconds. After the console turns off, unplug the power cord, and wait for the light on the console to turn off. Then plug the power cord back in and turn it on, then start the game, and see if your issue is resolved.
This fixed it! Thank you!
You're welcome, enjoy the game!
