My thoughts on episode one

I'm just going to post a quick list of positive and negative things about this episode, rather than writing it out in detail. Feel free to do the same.

+ Difficulty was spot on. I was never frustrated, nor did I get any help.
+ After my initial fears from screenshots, I can gladly say the graphics were superb.
+ Dialogue was funny and engaging, and all voice acting was great.
+ Puzzles were unique and varied.
+ Story wraps up nicely and ends on a suitable cliffhanger.
+ WASD control scheme works well.

- Couldn't visit all the island locations (jail, inside the club, etc) which was a bit annoying.
- Could tell it was the voice of Harry Moleman.
- Pirates on the island lacked variety and looked too similar.
- Inventory felt a little clunky to operate at some points.

All in all, this was definitely an amazing game, and I would probably go as far as calling it Telltale's best. I hope the rest of the series plays out just as well.

P.S. what happened to changing font colour? I wanted to snazz up my plus and negative signs.

Hi brother, I'll try to be as fast as I can 'cause I'm planning to replay the game in a few minutes :)

Ok, the game is almost perfect: great humour, great plot, great LeChuck (finally I felt him menacing again), great Guybrush.

Minor flaws: some bugs here and there (who cares?), controls (who cares? as I got used to them it's been OK!).

I absolutely agree with everything on this post except for the bad list. I say TMI episode one gets a perfect 10.

I agree with most of the points, so i am just gonna write where my differences are.

    - For me difficulty was to easy, and i had all hints switched off. Ran the game through in about 3 hours max, where i used a lot longer on Telltales's Sam and Max.

    - The keyboard control thing dont work very well for me. The main reason for Not buying Walter and Gromit. I really wished you where able to point 'n click with the mouse on where to go. The pointer is there, so they should be able to get in. The current stearing with the mouse does not work. Allso more in the "old" monkey style. Maybe if you could control with both keyboard and mouse all would be satisfied.
