total crash
Greetings, it seems that my penchant for telltale games comes with the problem that they crash my computer for a while until there is a driver update. Once again, another game--tales from the borderlands--has begun to crash. i can play anywhere from 1-10 min before the game crashes my computer. any support would be appreciated since iove these games and wish to actually play them.
thank you for your time,
josh

i scrolled the first dozen pages and saw nothing that resembled my issue. i believe it is due to my 64 bit computer trying to run a 32 bit game. is there a way to fix that?
here is the files from the tftb dos system check thing... https://www.sendspace.com/file/daiau1
He meant, put your issue there and you will get more help.
thank you for the clarification.
No problem, I hope this gets resolved quickly.
My apologies for any difficulties this has caused you. Please first try Verifying your Game Cache, then restart the game, and see if you are then able to progress past that point in the episode without the game crashing. If you still experience the issue, you can also try updating your graphics card's drivers to the latest version, then start the game.
If the issue persists, it may be related to a sound settings issue. Try going to the settings on your Sound Unit (Whether it be headphones, or speakers) and see if it is currently set to 5.1 Surround. If so, try switching it to Stereo/only two sound units (Left and Right speakers) instead of (All Around) and then start the game again, and see if your issue is resolved.
hhhokay,
I still am experiencing problems in the game (aka. crashing whole unit). I verified the game cahce, deleted and reinstalled the game, checked the versions of my graphics card drivers, even checked the audio outputs....and still the game crashes. I have played around a bit with the graphic in game, and it helps a bit...but still the unit crashes. sometimes if i can back out of the game in time, there is a notification that says "driver error, kernal ....." If you have any suggestions or anything to help, i would be appreciative.
If your graphics card is already updated with the latest available drivers, I recommend try installing one version previous to the one you have currently installed, and see if you are then able to start the game. If you still experience the issue, you can also try following the steps at the bottom of page 2 in This Article.
