Faith and Mary - two fingers wave

Has anyone noticed that wave that Faith gave to Bigby in ep1? While she was walking away she put up her left hand with two fingers raised, waved and said "I'll see you around... Wolf". Then at the end of ep3 Bloody Mary, after she almost killed Bigby, did the exact same wave (again left-handed) and said "see ya 'round" while walking away.

Now I'm not from US and can't say if that style is/was common, but still it strikes me as odd, especially with the accompanying dialog being so similar.

  • I noticed that too... but at first just shook it off, since we only saw it twice. But still a little peculiar. And in the US its kinda used often, as a salute or something of that sort. :)

  • I believe the connection was intentional, but I have no idea if it actually means something.

  • Or possibly they just reused the animation...

  • And both happened to say "see you around" as they did the animation?

  • It's probably just a coincidence, the same exact thing happened with Nick and Carver in The Walking Dead Season 2

  • I think they might just have reused an animation. I've noticed a lot of the same animations being used in TWAU and other telltales games as well, espically that animation where characters point their finger in a quick kind of angry way, I see it all the time.
