OS X | Graphics Options Do Not Take Effect

Hi, I've just purchased TTG's Game of Thrones via Steam and am running it well enough in OS X 10.10 on a late 2014 5K iMac.

The Settings menu --> Graphics submenu will allow me to change resolution to every option, but it will never take effect. If I use the OS X key combination COMMAND+F to reach full screen, a strobing coloration and flickering begin and the resolution I select is still not applied.

The strobing coloration and is due to low resolution being stretched to 5K from what I can tell and the strobing causes the flickering which lasts a while afterwards.

    I apologize for the inconvenience. If you switch the game to Full Screen mode and see the distorted screen, please try switching back to Windowed Mode, then adjust the game's resolution to a lower setting and try returning to Full Screen then. Please make sure that after you change any of the game's settings, that you click the Apply button for those changes to go into effect.
