Episode 3 Animation/action glitch

Hi; I've been playing on a Windows 8.1 PC (support tool files linked here: https://www.sendspace.com/file/ldnijx ), and just as I started Episode 3 (right as Fiona throws the ball at Rhys before pushing open the grating at the bottom of the ladder), things start to glitch; first, Rhys' model isn't visible as she throws the ball at him, and then she vanishes as you are about to be asked to hit 'q' to open the grate; meanwhile, the female merc outside teleports around, and is locked in an arms-outstretched position. When Fiona attacks her, Fiona is apparently grappling an invisible person while the guard stands a few feet in front of her.

Then, once the guard is unconscious, Fiona can pick up the money, but then becomes completely stuck; you can turn to face any direction, but it acts as if she is walking into walls, and cannot proceed.

Any thoughts? Restart of both computer and game already tried.

    I apologize for the inconvenience. After looking over your Support Tool information, it appears that your computer is currently using the integrated Intel HD graphics card instead of your more powerful Nvidia card. I recommend make sure that the Nvidia card is enabled when you start the game, and you should not experience these issues anymore. You can do this by following the steps in one of the following articles:

    Enabling Nvidia Graphics Card using Optimus
    Disabling Intel HD Graphics Card
