Game not saving and can't login to TellTale Account
Hello,
So I'm having two big problems here. The first I noticed is that I can't login to the TellTale account I created for this game. Whenever I try to login to my account from the game it continually gives me an error saying that the servers are down.
The bigger problem, however, is that the game is not saving my game or my settings changes, despite showing the indicator that it is doing so. Whenever quit to the main menu and try to resume my game, I only have the option to start chapters over again. Moreover, whenever I look at the save files within the game, they say the files are empty. If I try to rename a save file from within the game using the rename save button, the changes do not stick. If I make a resolution change and quit the game, the resolution change is reverted to the default 1028 768.
I have also checked and confirmed that the folder for Tales from the Borderlands is missing from the "Documents\Telltale Games" folder. I do not believe this folder is being created. I am confused, however, that no error was produced.
I have seen that this issue has happened before, but their solutions thus far have not helped me. I had originally had the game installed on an alternant hard drive, but reinstalling the game on my C:\ drive has not solved my problem.
I have run the support tool. Here is the link:

I would like very much to resolve this issue, as the first hour of the game, at least, seems to be very fun and engaging.
On a separate point: I find it a bit frustrating there is no cutscene/dialog skip function. The absence of this feature is all the more annoying when you've played through the first hour of a game multiple times trying to resolve a fundamental, game breaking bug and have to watch an opening cinematic/dialog multiple times. I would think this kind of feature would be important for an adventure game.
Anyway, thank you for your time. I have had very good experience with TellTale in the past, and have been playing your guys' games since the Sam And Max era. I look forward to getting to enjoy Tales from the Borderlands properly. :-)

I apologize for the inconvenience. I have not heard of this particular issue occurring before where a save file directory is not being created after starting the game. After looking over your Support Tool information, both Steam and the game look to be installed to the default location, and should function normally. I recommend first try Verifying your Game Cache, then restart the game, and see if a save file directory is created. If the issue persists, I also noticed you are using Windows 10. I recommend also try running the game As an Administrator, or in a Compatibility Mode, and see if a save file directory is then created.
If you still experience the issue of not being able to log into your Telltale account, please make sure that you have disabled any anti-virus or internet firewall programs open and running that may interfere with the download completing successfully. Then restart the game, and see if you are able to log in successfully.
