Switching Anti-Piracy Type

Hi

I've bought the PC-DVD version of Sam & Max Episode 1. I can't play without the DVD being in the drive, which is a bit of an issue for me as I'm on the road a lot and don't have the ability to carry around a whole bunch of DVD's. Is there anyway to switch my installation to the Online Activation type?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks!
James

The easiest way to do that is to download the games onto your laptop and unlock them! If you bought the DVD from the Telltale site, you should be able to download them from your games page.

But I've already bought the DVD, and in South Africa bandwidth is too expensive to download games...

Speaking of activation, how does that works ? What are the limits ?

Is this a retail product? If you had bought the DVD from Telltale then you would have free access to download versions that use online activation, as Jake mentioned. If you're talking about a retail disc, then there isn't any way to change to a different copy protection method, sorry.

Take a look at the support FAQ - it contains answers to these questions. :)
