Check that out. I think I've tried to keep the review relatively spoiler free. :D

gamespot has a review up 7.7/10
It was good to see a nod to the great mini game car bomb in the review. I would love to see it in the next episode. I'm still waiting for the 1st to get my chance to play it. From what I've been reading it is a bit on the easy side and also pretty short. When can we expect episode 2?

I wish telltale would release their schedule. The real schedule. Where you get to actually own the game applause.gif

there is a schedule on front page press release. add two weeks for the non-gametap release. :D

but whut about the "shorts". I guess I'll assume that it's the same. Maybe I'll asumme that everything will be answered when the new site gets up and running too. I'm also assuming that the shorts are not just for gametappers and that they'll be available for high quality downloads from Telltales website. Assuming I'm correct...

I think its *essential* not to quote Gamespot reviews.. it boggles the mind why people still point links to that site. It is now literally the laughing stock of the review community with withdrawn reviews and bloopers.. and the constant need to have ratings that conflict drastically with the rest of the sites just to look 'different' and 'cool' (when a site constantly employs freelance reviewers with questionable 'experience' this happens). They dont seem to realise that it just makes them look truly poor.

Case in point.. Gamespot have once more given a low rating to a game but in truth Sam & Max Episode 1 has:

    http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/930015.asp

an average of 85% on gamerankings (which is very good to say the least) with notables here:

    Eurogamer: 90%
    Firing Squad: 90%
    Dark Zero: 90%
    Armchair Empire: 90%
    IGN: 87%

Simply - its a hit with the reviewers and its only the first episode. Couldnt be bette really - and Gamespot have been predictable as always.

GameSpot scored Culture Shock surprisingly high for an adventure game. I'm pleased. 7.7 is definitely a good score coming from them.
