The weather vane (different query to the other ones...)

The pox has started hovering in the sky, the wind has picked up, and I have my weather vane from Voodoo Lady's cabin.

I'm walking around the jungle, looking at the weather vane and following where it points, but I just end up going around in circles. I always end up back at the world map, having discovered nothing. So, without just posting the solution, please :) can someone tell me if I'm doing the right thing?

Am I doing the right thing, but doing it wrong? If you catch my drift. :p Am I just misreading the directions the vane is giving me?

    You have to use the weather vane on specivic locations. randomly using it in the jungle will not get you anything.

    It would very much depend on where you are.

    First off, go back and explore the town again, if you havn't done that since visiting Deepgut. Also, make sure you look around Deepgut's cabin, in very fine detail.

    Only for seeing you run everywhere. Like before you need a map a ancient map with its own secrets.
