Graphics Glitch?

So I've started playing TWAU again as I previously lost my save file, which I don't mind doing. The last device I played it on was my Samsung Galaxy S4 and everything ran smoothly, but now playing it on my S6 its pretty different.

First, the shadow/shading on the characters are terrible, sometimes they are close to completely black where you cant see them (I've looked up gameplay videos to see and its completely different).

Also at times, the acknowledgments (faith will remember this, etc...) show up blank, the question mark and black background can be seen but the text cant... and this is the same with what i choose bigby to say/do it sometimes comes up with no text
