By making Tales of Monkey Island, Telltale has brought a childhood gamer of the original Monkey Island series out of 'retirement'. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I'll be sure to purchase other adventure game titles you make in the future. Thanks!

Would love to thank telltale for this fantastic game. And also would like to apoligise for the horrible comments some people left.

Really loved the graphics. Guybrush looked like he'd grown up a bit, which is what you'd expect, but he hasn't lost his innocence, had so much fun, so many laughs playing the games, im actually going to play the rest of tell tale when i get paid :D

Thanks Telltale, after Sam & Max, Monkey Island was always a close second, and now both are back!

Thank you Telltale, for existing! I will hand over my hard-earned cash to you guys any day, because your games have brought me so much freaking joy over the past couple of years.

In fact I may buy Wallace and Grommit just to support you, even though I'm not a W&G fan.

Thank you so much for bringing back my favourite game series of all time back, thank you so much

With all the titles across multiple platforms being released and leaving me feeling kinda jaded and bored, gaming took a backseat for me until this little gem came along!.
Secret of MI is to this day one of my favorite games and Tales revived many of those happy childhood memories. I think the only thing that could top this would be a Grim Fandango sequel ...

Great job Telltale team, and keep em coming (really, don't ever stop!!)

Thanks a bunch Telltale! I've been a fan since SBCG4AP, but this game seems to have made you guys into Rock Stars, and for good reason: it's a game that pays tribute to its predecessors because it's up there with its predecessors!

And to the heretofore naysayers and skeptics, this is why one should not judge until one plays the game. I'm glad to say I told you so. ;)

After already given up all hope on this, you released it out of the blue. Thank you Telltale Games, this new Monkey Island awakened the pirate within me once again and also my intrest for adventure games.

Hopefully you can satisfy all those content hungry fans out there, even for a little while! As for me, Im gonna check out your other titles while waiting! :)

ToMI isn't just an attempt at emulating a Monkey Island game, it's the real deal. The series couldn't be in better hands!

I'd also like to add my thanks - great job guys! Can't wait for the next ones.

let me add my thanks too..and I haven't even played it yet as a result of being in the US on business this week. However, I have seen it load up on my laptop (thanks to my g/f who sent me an MMS of it)...and can't wait to get home and play....it will bring back memories that may well bring tears to my eyes.

    Great job Telltale!
You have proven, again, that you have the craft to bring the adventure game genre back to us with the same quality of story, charcters, and humor that made them memorable to begin with.

Games may have technologically progressed over the years but your characters and stories have and will continue to resonate with us beyond particle effects and pixel shaders.

Thank you very much Telltale for reviving one of the greatest adventure game series out there (and doing it amazingly well too).

    GIEV chapter 2! :D

Thanks for the awesome game! It made me want to go back and play them all over again so I wouldn't miss any future references.

Thanks so much for bringing this beloved classic back to us, for doing it right, and hopefully reinvigorating the Adventure Game genre in the process!!

    :D

I loved it! Thanks for putting great effort into a wonderful revamp of an old title.

Thanks Telltale for making a great looking and feeling game. I look forward to playing the rest of the episodes, as there's some very wonderful stuff in the first one.

I must add, your company has gotten me super excited not once, not twice but thrice times excited about the franchises you've taken on. First it was all like, Sam & Max are finally coming back?! OMG, then it got intense when you released Wallace and Gromit, but what really set me over the top was Monkey Island. True, Sam & Max season 1 and 2 didn't excite me half way through the series, but I love where TMI is going.

    Keep up the fantastic work!

I think we all owe a big thank you to the people at Telltale for reviving the series for us. Whether or not you like the game, this company is single handedly bringing back adventure games for us!!!

I have longed for the day that I would hear the word that a new Monkey Island was coming and when I did I nearly peed in my pants. Yea sure some of you may have gripes with the 3D graphics....but all in all the Monkey Island feeling is there.....you guys maintained the soul of the series!!!!

Thank you a thousand times over!!!!

    Please keep making them!!!!
