Seriously Sarah? Seriously?

edited March 2014 in The Walking Dead

If you refuse to take Sarah's picture, (I don't know where she learned to do this but...) she takes a selfie. That part made me facepalm because I thought we would be safe from selfies in the apocalypse, but I guess not. "Man, I know one advantage of livin in the apocalypse is not dealing with that shit no more". -Kenny

  • Am I the only one who thinks Sarah's face is adorable in that scene?

  • I found Sarah's childishness refreshing as a player in this episode. Which made it that much more of a brutal scene when she watched her dad being tortured.

  • I'm still here! :D LOL. That's the ONLY selfie I love! Haha!

  • Know what ya mean. When Carlos saw the Pic i responded with the Distract Option. And she then said 'I thought we were friends'. After this she gave me the Cold Shoulder. I dunno why... but crushing this Girls Spirit and hurting her Feelings concern me somehow. Like when Lee had to handle the Conversation about Clems Parents back in the Train.

  • At least while she's taking pictures of herself she's not pointing a gun at Clementine's head.

  • I also picked that option, never occurred to me that it would hurt Sarah's feelings the way it did and I felt really bad about it afterwards.

  • I feel like I got lucky at that part. I didn't take her picture and my one rule while playing is to never lie. But for some reason I couldn't decide and then the pressure from the time running out made me impulsively hit the "I took the picture" option. Right when I hit it I was like "Ugh dammit." But Sarah made me feel better by taking the blame back.

  • I don't get why people are facepalming over this. Episode 1 proved that she's naive and childish. It shouldn't have been a surprise.

  • We're facepalming because it's something annoying people do nowadays.

Misclick made me comment for no reason :/

  • I think Sarah accomplishes that more for me than Duck did, because we see fleshed out reactions from her in regards to both good and bad scenarios.

  • At least she's not taking pictures of her food and posting it on Instagram.

  • Everyone knows the Kirkman apocalypse begins in the early 2000s, and we all know selfies didn't exist until at least 2010! D:<

  • Why they had too make Sarah so Ugly?...

  • That's the option I took, but I wanted to. I play Clementine as aged beyond her years due to what she saw. She's sort of like Lee, sort of like Lilly, and sort of like Kenny, though she'd hate to admit it. So when she meets Sarah, a sheltered girl who isn't ready for the apocalypse, she tries to take her under her wing like Lee did with her. That's why the scene where you teach Sarah how to use the gun was so neat, to me. If in the next episode we get the option to cut her hair short, I'll be really happy.

My main goal as Clementine is to protect Sarah. There is some childish naivete or maybe it's a worry about adult figures and how they never last, but Clementine somewhat sees herself as better able to help Sarah than Carlos is, and this is going to cause a lot of friction. Clementine thinks she knows best having seen so much, but she might be biting off more than she can chew.

    Can't wait!

I think it's when she asks you to teach her and if you answer "...". Not sure which of her responses you need to answer with that though.

    It looks like this:
